Store redesign

Your store looks like a template. Your products don't.

We rebuild existing Shopify stores on a new design system. Same domain, same catalogue, same order history. New design, new section architecture, new conversion path. Live in three to four weeks.

Sound familiar?

The theme that got you started is now costing you.

Every competitor looks identical.

You launched on a $29 theme because it was fast and it worked. Then twelve brands in your category launched on the same one. Your product is differentiated. Your storefront is not.

Premium price, budget storefront.

The gap between what you charge and what your site looks like is a trust gap. It shows up in your conversion rate. Baymard Institute research puts the average ecommerce cart abandonment rate at around 70% and design driven trust is a measurable part of that.

Three years of patches.

Four developers, nine apps, a custom section nobody documented and a theme file that no longer matches the parent. Every change now takes three times longer than it should.

What is included

A redesign that ships as a system, not a recolour.

Design system first

Typography scale, colour tokens, spacing and grid, icon rules and a full component library. Built before a single page is designed so the store stays consistent as you add pages.

Rebuilt section architecture

Every template rebuilt as modular sections your team can rearrange in the theme editor. No hardcoded pages, no calling us to move a block.

Conversion first templates

Home, collection, product, cart and account templates restructured around the path to checkout, not around what the theme happened to offer.

Clean Liquid, not a recolour

Custom Liquid written from scratch where it matters, built on a stable base. Documented, readable and safe for the next developer.

Mobile first delivery

Designed at mobile width, then desktop. Most DTC storefronts see the majority of sessions on mobile, so that is where the design starts.

Launch and handover

Staging link throughout, full QA across browsers and devices, redirect map, then documentation your team can actually use.

Why Devoq Tech

The anti-agency agency.

Fixed timelines.In writing.

Every proposal includes a delivery date. We've never missed one. If we ever do, you get 10% off. That's how confident we are.

You talk to the people doing the work.

No account managers playing telephone. You get a direct line to the designer and developer building your store, over Slack or email.

Daily updates.

The number one reason brands fire agencies is silence. You'll get a progress update every working day. You will never chase us for status.

Shopify only.Since day one.

We don't do WordPress. We don't do Wix. Every hour we've ever billed has been on Shopify, and that depth shows up in your store.

What clients say

Brands don't leave reviews for average work.

Every project ships with a delivery date in writing. These are the brands that held us to it.

Redesign FAQ

What brands ask before a rebuild.

How long does a Shopify store redesign take?

Three to four weeks from kickoff to launch for a standard catalogue. Larger catalogues, complex B2B logic or heavy custom feature work push it to five or six. The exact date goes in your proposal before any work starts and we have never missed one.

Will a redesign hurt my SEO?

Not if it is done properly. We keep your URL structure wherever possible, build a full redirect map for anything that changes, preserve title tags and meta descriptions unless we are deliberately improving them and carry structured data across. Most redesigns improve organic performance because Core Web Vitals and mobile usability improve. If speed is the only ceiling, start with Shopify speed optimisation instead.

Do I lose my products, customers or order history?

No. A redesign changes the theme layer only. Your products, variants, customers, orders, discounts and apps all live in Shopify's admin and are untouched. Features the theme cannot express belong in custom Shopify development.

Can we keep some of our current design?

Yes. Sometimes you should. If your logo, palette and photography are working, we build the new system around them. We will tell you honestly which parts are assets and which parts are holding you back.

What if we do not like the design?

You choose a direction before we build anything. Step one is two distinct visual directions on three key sections. You pick one, we refine it and only then does it become a full design system. Nobody gets to week three and discovers they hate it.

What does a Shopify redesign cost with Devoq Tech?

Redesigns start at [CONFIRM] and scale with catalogue size, template count and custom feature requirements. Full ranges are on the pricing page. Every proposal is a fixed price with a fixed date, not an hourly estimate.

Do you migrate us to a new theme or rebuild ours?

It depends on the state of your current theme. If it is a well maintained premium theme, rebuilding sections on top of it is faster and preserves your team's familiarity with the editor. If it has been heavily modified over years, a clean base is safer. The free teardown tells us which.
